Clayton County Register, 18 May 1944.

Lynn E. Richards, 53, inmate of the county home, died at the institution May 10 and was buried at Edgewood Sunday. He was born Aug. 5, 1891, south of Edgewood. He farmed in Iowa and Montana but has been a resident of the county home since 1939. He never married and his only survivor is his mother, Mrs. Emma Richards, also living at the county home. His father preceded him in death.
