DEMARS, WAGNER, RIES, EHLERS

Clayton County Register, 23 Dec. 1943.

Funeral services for D. J. DeMars, 87, who died at the County Home Monday noon, Dec. 20, were held from the McTaggart-Haudenshield funeral home to St. Joseph's church Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mr. DeMars was born Dec. 01, 1856, in Dubuque. He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Joseph Wagner and Mrs. Edward Ries, both of Dubuque, and three nephews, John, Fred and Frank Ehlers, also of Dubuque.
