Mrs. Tillie Troup, age 53, died Wednesday at an Independence hospital.

Tillie Rodies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rodies, was born August 22, 1891, in Deleware county. In March 1907 she was married to Harry Troup.

Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Hines of Lamont and Mrs. Donna Miles of Portland, Ore.; a brother, William Rodies of Strawberry Point; a sister, Mrs. Clara Rogers of Oak Park, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Gill funeral chapel Saturday afternoon in charge of the Rev. R. Park Anderson, Methodist pastor.

Casket bearers were Albert Jewell, Oscar Lehman, Lester Perry, W. G. Smith, George Edmond and Percy Rogers. Burial was in the local cemetery.
