Mrs. Mary Moyna.

Mrs. Mary Moyna, 73, died Sunday morning following a stroke at the home of Mrs. Anna Opperman in Strawberry Point, where she had made her home for the past year.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point, with the Rev. Father Boyle officiating. Burial was made in the Sacred Heart cemetery at Cox Creek.

Mary Ivory, daughter of Patrick and Mary Ivory, was born at Strawberry Point, Sept. 22, 1870. She was one of a family of nine children, all of whom preceded her in death. She was married to P. J. Moyne, who preceded her in death a number of years ago.

Surviving is a step-son, John Moyne, of Elkader, and a number of nieces and nephews.

(Note: The surname Moyna/Moyne was spelled both ways in the article, as shown.)
