GARNAVILLO: Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran church for Mrs. Charles A. Lantzky, 77, who died Thursday morning at her home. Rev. Victor Hackbarth was in charge of the service and the sermon was given by Dr. C. W. Laube of Dubuque.
Mrs. Lantzky, whose maiden name was Louise A. Schulte, was born on a farm in Read township, Clayton County, August 02, 1865. Her parents were Mary Waterman and John H. Schulte.
On Nov. 04, 1890, she was married to Charles A. Lantzky and they made their home in Dubuque until 1934, when they returned here.
Mrs. Lantzke is survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Benjegerdes of Postville and Mrs. Annie Diers of Seward, Neb.
Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Lester Wendt, Lester Gossman, Elmer Schulte, Louis Benjegerdes, August Lantzky, and Fern Sharp.
