Enelda Louisa Horstman, nee Thiese was born September 23, 1915, in Read township. At the age of six she moved with her parents to a farm near Garber where she resided until her marriage to Harold Horstman on July 24, 1935, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Elkport Emanuel Lutheran church.
She died at her home July 11, 1943, giving birth to an infant daughter who also died.
She is survived by her husband and her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Thiese, besides many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at St. John's church in Garber Wednesday with the Rev. J. Gaterman officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Harmony cemetery.
Paallbearers were former classmates Donald and Laman Chettinger, Howard Rentschler, Clarence Meyer, Earl Clefisch and Chas. Peucker r.
