Clayton County Register, 08 July 1943.

Funeral services for Mrs. Austin Lamphier, 54, of Elkport, were held Monday, July 05, at the Methodist church, with the Rev. D. V. Butler, pastor, in charge.

Mrs. Lamphier, formerly Sarah Ann Wooner, died Saturday at her home in Elkport.

Surviving are her husband, four sons and a daughter.

Burial was in Hill Crest cemetery, Volga City.
