Edna Mae Adams, daughter of Charles and Emma Adams, was born at Volga City, Iowa, Sept. 30, 1889. She graduated from the local high school and had the unusual record of never being absent or tardy during the entire term. She also attended college at Fayette. She had been ill for some time and died Friday, June 04, at the Worrall hospital in Rochester, where she had been a patient for the past five weeks.
She is survived by her mother Mrs. Emma Adams of Volga City, two brothers, Shubael of Detroit, Mich., and Will of Dubuque, two nieces and a nephew and other relatives and a host of friends who are left to mourn her death.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian church with the Rev. Russell P. Nelson in charge.
Her casket bearers were: F. P. Gernand, R. E. Candee, L. L. White, H. O. Probert, Wm. J. Wilker and Kent Walters.
Burial was in Hill Crest cemetery.
Her father, C. S. Adams, preceded her in death in August 1918.
