Funeral services were held for Will Schultz, 67, from the Gill funeral chapel Friday afternoon, May 07, and burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery. The Rev. L. A. Stumme, pastor of the Emanuel Lutheran church, was in charge. Mr. Schultz died Wednesday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Otto Feulner, with whom he had made his home the past few years. He had just returned here Sunday from Rochester, Minn., where he had spent a week receiving treatment. His death was caused by heart trouble.

Born June 09, 1876, at Elkport, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz. He never married. For several years he was employed as a mechanic at Waterloo. He was a member of the Rebecca and the I.O.O.F. lodges, also of the Good Samaritan club at Waterloo, several members from this club attending the funeral.

Surviving are one half-sister, Mrs. Otto Feulner of Strawberry Point, and one half-brother, John Schultz of Exeland, Wis. There are also one niece and one nephew. Casket bearers were John Tracy, Fred Tracy, M. F. Harwood, Lester Hines, Earl Nichols, and G. W. Barr. Music was furnished by Paul Lindemeyer, vocalist, and Mrs. Theadore Schuchmann, pianist.
