Mrs. Minnie Clough, 86, died Thursday afternoon, May 06, following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the Gill funeral chapel and burial was in St. Sebald cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Benson, pastor of the Congregational church, officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Carrie Slagle and Mrs. Jennie Howard, vocalists, and Miss Helen Buckley, pianist.
The only daughter of Gottlieb and Wilhelmina Steinhilber, she was born at Dubuque July 07, 1857. She came, with her family, to the St. Sebald community, where she grew to womanhood. Jan. 17, 1900, she was married to Perry Clough, who died several years ago. Surviving is one brother, Henry Steinhilber, of Truesdale. Four brothers, Steve, George, Charles and Gottlieb preced her in death.
