Funeral services for Mrs. Charles J. Plagman, 38, were held at Elkport Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 22, at 1:30 from the home to the Immanuel Lutheran church, with the Rev. Albert Guetzlaff officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Harmony cemetery. Her death occurred at her home on Sunday morning Dec. 20, at 4:30 a.m. following two month's illness.
She was the former Augusta Baars, daughter of Rosalie and Frederick Baars, and was born Feb. 16, 1884, in Cox Creek township. She was united in marriage to Charles J. Plagman of Elkport on Jan. 2, 1907, and they farmed in Elk township until six years ago when they retired and moved to Elkport.
Surviving are her husband, one son LaVerne of Edgewood, and one daughter Jeanette at home. Also two grandsons and one sister, Mrs. Alfred Kishman of Monona.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother and one sister.
