Mrs. T Isabelle Adams, daughter of Winston and Rachel Gould, was born on March 24, 1861 at Greenfield, Ill.

She was married to David L. Adams Sept. 13, 1883. After a lingering illness she died Saturday morning, Sept 6, 1947; reaching the age of 86 years, five months and 12 days. She was cared for by her children, who did everything that it was possible to do for her in her old age. In her last years, her daughter Freda was constantly at her side.

She is survived by her 10 children seven of whom are married; Charley and his wife Maudie; Byrtella and her husband, Herman Baars; Mabel and her husband, Anson Randall; Carrie and her husband, Reid Davis; Fred and his wife, Sally, and Carl and Freda, all of Volga; Walter and his wife, Pearl, Imperial, Neb.; Price and his wife, Louise, Champion, Neb.; and Omar of Elkader. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and many friends. Mr. Adams preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1923.

Services were held Monday at 2 p.m., at the Blake and Gill chapel with Louie Brandt, Garnavillo, and Oliver Smith, Waterloo, in charge of the services.

Music was provided by Jeane Kregel and Gladys Kregel. Mrs. F. P. Gernand and Mrs. Oliver Follon arranged the flowers.

Bearers were Oliver Follon, Ronald Moore, Warren Page and Lyman Wells. Burial was in Hill Crest cemetery, Volga.
