Funeral services for Alfred Emmet Hall, 57, were held Monday, August 11, at St. Michael's church, Garber. The Rev. F. J. McEnany officiated.
Mr. Hall was born January 10, 1890 and died at his home south of Elkport Friday, August 08. He had been in failing health for several months.
On October 21, 1914 he was married to Alma Meyer. Five children were born to this union; namely, Mrs. Walter Szemkus, Mrs. Virgil Uriell, Elkader; and two sons, Elias and Clair who live at home. He was preceded in death by one son, Howard, in 1928.
Survivors are his wife and four children, two sisters, Mrs. Michael Leonard, Elkader; and Mrs. LaVern Dalen, Strawberry Point; one brother, County Superintendent Clarence L. Hall, Spirit Lake; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Hall, and four grandchildren.
Casket bearers were: Realto Berns, George Costigan, Frank Scheffert, Earl Bown, Leon Fishel and Art Willman.
