STRAWBERRY POINT: Mrs. Anna Baldridge died at her home Friday after a long illness

As Anna Maria Scully, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Scully, she was born at Dubuque Aug. 12, 1858. On Feb. 13, 1888, she was married to John Baldridge of Strawberry Point. They farmed in this community until retiring to Strawberry Point in 1920. Mr. Baldridge died in 1938. A daughter, Mrs. Louie Scherman, also preceded her in death.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Dell Conner of Strawberry Point, Mrs. Louie Wooldridge of Manchester, and Alice at home.

Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. J. P. Fagan. Casket bearers were Arnold Kluesner, Leonard Wiley, Clair Collins, Leon Olinger, Bruce Hebron, and Jack Simek. Burial was here.
