Clayton County Register, 12 June 1947.

Funeral services for John F. Donlon, 89, who died at his farm home near Elkader at 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, will be held at St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock Friday morning. The body is now at the Oelke funeral home.

Survivors are his wife, two sons, Stephen and Arthur, and five granddaughters.
