Funeral services for Mrs. John Stebor, 72, who died at her home in Elkader early Monday, are to be held this afternoon at the family home at 1:30 to the Congregational Christian church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Herbert G. Kelly and the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.

Mrs. Stebor, although an invalid for the past 20 years, participated actively in many clubs and fraternal organizations.

Survivors include her husband, John Stebor; two sons, Fred J., of Detroit, Mich.; and Robert Louis of Elkader; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Atkins of Des Plaines, Ill., and Ruth Ann Stebor of Elkader.

Funeral services for Mrs. John Stebor, 72, an invalid for 20 years, who died at her home here Monday, Jan. 13, were held from the home at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon to the Congregational Christian church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Herbert G. Kelly, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Paul Kitterer of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial was made in the East Side cemetery.

As Julia Molzahn, daughter of John F. and Anna Grana Molzahn, Mrs. Stebor was born in Humbird, Wis., March 17, 1874. She was married to John Stebor at Winona, Minn., on February 02, 1891, and they lived in Milwaukee, Wis., and Rochester, Minn., before coming to reside in Elkader in 1901.

Mrs. Stebor, though confined to her bed for 20 years, following a spinal operation, retained her membership in a number of organizations. She was a charter member and past president of the Service Star Legion, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors, the Fraternal Aid Union and the Ladies' Guild of the Congregational Christian church of which she was also a member.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Fred J. Stebor, Detroit, Mich., and Robert L. Stebor Elkader, two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Atkins, Des Plaines, Ill., and Ruth Anne at home; three sisters: Mrs. Mary English, Winona, Minn., Mrs. Josephine Goltz, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Oscar Paulson, Rochester, Minn.; one brother, Fredrich Molzahn, Hopkins, Minn., and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons: Louis, George and Clayton John, and twin daughters who died in infancy.

Pallbearers were: three grandsons, Kenneth L. Stebor, Iowa City; Curtis L. Aasen, Des Plaines, Ill.; John Cox, Jr., Clinton; and Gerald Cunningham, Waterloo; Kenneth Newbern and Joseph Collins, both of Elkader.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Fred J. Stebor, Detroit, Mich, Mrs. A. C. Atkins, Des Plaines, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Aasen and Georgine, Mrs. Josephine Goltz, Chicago, Mrs. Nary English, Mrs. Frank Hamernik, Winona, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stebor and Gary, Iowa City, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Cox and J. T. Cox, Clinton, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Cunningham, Waterloo.
