Jack B. Frisbie was born in Clayton county, January 07, 1877. He died at his home in St. Olaf December 26, 1946, at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 19 days.
He lived the first years of his life in Clermont, Iowa, and was married there to Nettie Kightlinger in 1895. Two children were born to them: Hazel, who died in 1937 and Duwayne, who resides in Charles City, Iowa.
He worked at his trade of buttermaking for a good many years and served as State Dairy and Food Inspector for 10 years. He lived in many places.
He was baptized and received into the Congregational church at Forest City, Iowa in 1921.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the St. Olaf Chapel with the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating. Burial was in the Clermont cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, one son Duwayne, of Charles City, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Jean Spencer and Jack Frisbie.
