Clayton County Register, 25 Dec. 1940.

GUTTENBERG: Mrs. John Wehrkamp died at her home Thursday evening. She had been ill for about four months. She leaves to mourn her death one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Schulte of St. Olaf and one son, Herman of Garnavillo, also one aged sister and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.
