Clayton County Register, 27 Nov. 1940.

The remains of Oral Rowe, whose funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Brant funeral home in Oelwein conducted by the Rev. F. C. Witzigman of Grace Methodist church, were brought here for burial in the Strawberry Point cemetery. Surviving are his wife, formerly Blanche Knight of this place and two sisters, Mrs. B. Duckett of Oelwein and Mrs. Sylvia Mathews of Ottawa, Ill., and two brothers, Charles of Ottawa and Sam of Wisconsin.
