Clayton County Register, 06 Nov. 1940.

GUTTENBERG: George Pietrick of this city was taken seriously ill on Thursday afternoon and was taken to Elkader where he died on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Petrick was 63 years old and had been a resident of Guttenberg about ten years.

He leaves two sisters and one brother to mourn his death.

Internment was made in the Guttenberg cemetery on Sunday.
