Clayton County Register, 19 Oct. 1940.
GUTTENBERG: Andrew Roth died at his home here on Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a lingering illness.
Mr. Roth has been a resident of Guttenberg most all of his life and has been proprietor of a general store in our city.
His widow, two daughters, one son, several sisters and brothers mourn his death.
Funeral services were held Monday forenoon at nine o'clock in St. Mary's church with the Rev. Joseph Dupont officiating. Burial was made in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.
