GUTTENBERG: The lifeless body of William Clefish was found last Tuesday morning in a machine shed by his son Virgil.

Mr. Clefish was born on a farm in Jefferson township, Aug. 16, 1884 and has been resident of this community nearly his entire life.

A widow, two daughters, Mrs. Erwin Niehaus of Guttenberg and Miss Lenora Clefish of Janesville, Wis., and one son, Virgil, of Guttenberg, one sister and several brothers survive.

Funeral services were held at the Ceres church on Friday afternoon, with the Rev. H. Steege of Garnavillo officiating. Burial was made in the Ceres cemetery.
