GUTTENBERG: Mrs. Gusta Putzier died at her home about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. She was taken ill on Monday evening and her death was a shock to the entire community.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ball and was born March 20, 1890.

Two daughters, Florence of Guttenberg and Mrs. Dale Sylvester of Littleport, two sons Carl of Guttenberg and Howard of Dubuque mourn her death.

Funeral services were held at the residence on Friday afternoon and burial was made at Garnavillo. The Rev. Harvey Coovert officiated.
