Trumblee, Harold William 1915 - 1940

Strawberry Point: Funeral services for Harold Trumblee were held at the Gill's Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Carrie V. A. Lucas, pastor of the Congregational church at Edgewood. Burial was made in the Campton cemetery at Lamont.

Harold William Trumblee, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Trumblee, was born at Lamont, March 19, 1915, and died Friday morning at the University hospital at Iowa City following a few days illness. He came here when a young boy and with the exception of two years the family lived at Battle Creek, Mich., he has made his home here. On Oct. 26, 1933, he was married to Viola Meister of Manchester. Mr. Trumblee followed the trade of a mechanic. Surviving are the wife and his parents.
