Clayton County Register, 22 May 1940.

LITTLEPORT: Mrs. Minnie Liddy died at the home of her daughter, Miss Mildred Liddy at 4740 Ave., Chicago, May 15th, at the age of 76 years, nine months and six days.

Mrs. Liddy was born in Littleport and has always made her home here until the last few years when she went to live with her daughter Mildred of Chicago.

Mrs. Liddy is survived by four daughters, Miss Mildred Liddy and Mrs. A. V. Richardson of Chicago, Mrs. C. D. Gleason of New Hampton, and Mrs. Lottie Ortman of Littleport; one son, Fred, of Littleport; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial services were conducted Friday by the Rev. Father Olinger at the Fred Liddy home and burial was made by the side of her husband in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
