Funeral services will be held here tomorrow morning at ten o'clock at St. Joseph's church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiating for Mrs. Lawrence Feeney Cass*, who died at LeMars yesterday morning, according to information given the Register by Leslie Oelke.

Mrs. Cass is a daughter of Peter Feeney.

Funeral services were held in St. Joseph's church last Thursday forenoon, April 25th, for Mrs. Laurence Kass. Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery with Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiating. Casketbearers were Leo Kelleher, George Kassutt, Stephen Donlon, Ray Welsh, Leo Roach and John Roach.

Anna Feeney Kass died at LeMars, Iowa, April 24th at 3:30 a.m. of a heart attack at childbirth. She was born May 23, 1902, and at the time of her death had reached the age of 37 years, 11 months and one day. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Feeney and was born here near Elkader.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph high school here and following her graduation taught school for one year at Walnut Hill, Nebr.

She was united in marriage with Laurence Kass here on June 12, 1939, and since her marriage has made her home at Le Mars.

Besides her parents and her husband, she is survived by three brothers and two sisters, namely, Jerry, at home; Mrs. May Schroeder of Hartford, Wis., Helen of Hartford, Wis., Ralph of Strawberry Point and Joseph of Milwaukee.

Relatives and friends from a distance who attended the services here included: M. Kass, father-in-law, of Le Mars, Mrs. Edward Luken of Granvill, Iowa, Mrs. Joe M. Kass, Le Mars; Dr. and Mrs. D. L. Ladenberger, Le Mars; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wymer, Dubuque, and Miss Kathryn Collins, Le Mars.

Note: The LeMars Semi-Weekly, 4/26/1940, printed the obit of Anne C. (Feeney) KASS, w/o Lawrence. She died in childbirth. There was no mention of a surviving infant.
