Clayton County Register, 24 Apr. 1940.

VOLGA: Mr. and Mrs. Eldo Walters, nee Betty Goodwin, mourn the loss of their infant daughter who was born to them early Friday morning and passed away Saturday afternoon. Brief funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon with burial in Hill Crest cemetery. Rev. R. P. Nelson and Rev. E. J. Starr, officiated. Surviving besides the parents are the grandmother, Mrs. Ernest Goodwin, and the grandfather, Oren Walters, all of Volga.
