GARBER: Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Hageman were held in the St. John's church Monday, April 8, with the Rev. C. P. Schupp officiating. Burial was held at the Mount Harmony cemetery.
As the daughter of Fred and Mary Rodas she was born in Pitsford, N.Y., July 13, 1865. She came to Iowa with her parents at the age of 11. She was baptized in early infancy and at the age of 15 became a member of the Lutheran church.
Mrs. Hageman died Friday at the age of 74 years, eight months and 22 days.
On July 14, 1883, she was married to Max Hageman. This union was blessed with four children. Mr. Hageman preceded her in death in 1929. Two children also preceded her in death, Frank in 1907, and Mary (Mrs. Joe Baker) in 1916.
She is survived by two sons, Albert of Garber and Walter of Rochester, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Recca Fuhrman of Manchester, and Mrs. Emma Rentschler of Elkport, also eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren besides a host of friends.
Pallbearers were: Fred Schrader, Thor Fisco, Leo Flaherty Joe Krepfle, Art Willman and Realto Berns.
