MONONA: Mrs. Amelia Voelz, aged 77, died Sunday morning from a stroke, in the home of Reinhart Voelz near Postville. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon from the local Lutheran church, the Rev. H. W. Siefkes officiating.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Gustav Kregel, with whom she lived, of near Postville; Mrs. Edgar Kreuger of McGregor, and Mrs. Ida Ihde of Farmersburg, and two sons, Reinhart Voelz of Postville, and Carl Voelz of Clermont; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two brothers, Otto Heller of Chicago, and Carl Heller of Kewanee, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Henry A. Krueger of Monona, and Mrs. Julius Doeppke of Elkader, also survive her.
The sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved in their loss.
