Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Witt Funeral chapel for Mrs. David Moran. Burial was made in the East Side cemetery with the Rev. P. Kitterer officiating. Pallbearers were: Realto and Norbert Kuehl, Francis and John Stence, Harold and John Ehrhardt.

Mrs. David Moran, born Fredericka Kelpien, was born March 24, 1865 in Germany, and died March 29, at Dubuque, Iowa at the age of 75 years, 5 days.

The deceased came to America with her parents when she was about seven years of age. Her parents settling in Clayton Center, Iowa, where she grew into womanhood.

She was united in marriage in 1885, at Elkader, Iowa to Conrad Wareham. Two children were born to this union, Harry and Charles. Charles preceded his mother in death in the year 1938. After the death of her first husband, Conrad Wareham, she was united in marriage to David Moran, in the year 1899. After her marriage she lived in Elkader until 1903 and then moved to Marion, Iowa, where she resided until 1907. Ever since 1907 she has made her home in Dubuque, Iowa.

The deceased had not been enjoying the best of health for some time, but was not considered in immediate danger. Friday she was taken to a hospital in Dubuque, but was only there a few hours before she was called to her reward. The deceased was a loving mother and kind neighbor.

She leaves to mourn her departure her son Harry Wareham of Dubuque, one brother, Charles Kelpien of Elkader and one sister, Mrs. Schnieder of Hallam, Nebr., also five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends from out-of-town who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kress and children and Will Rabbie of Dubuque; Mr. and Mrs. Les Himebaugh, Scotch Grove, and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Kuehl of Monticello.
