Clayton County Register, 13 Mar. 1940.

GARBER: Funeral services were held Sunday at the St. John's church for Miss Emma Follman, 48, of Elkader, with the Rev. Carl Schrupp officiating.

Miss Follman was born in May, 1891, and died Friday, March 08, 1940, at Oelwein hospital.

She leaves to mourn her passing her mother, two sisters and one brother.

Interment was in the Asbury cemetery. Pallbearers were George Webber, Albert Hageman, Thor Fisko, Earl Brown, Wilbur Hyde and Ernest Smock.
