CLAYTON CENTER: The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Glawe was brought to Clayton Center for burial services last Friday. Funeral services were held at Friedens' Evangelical church at Elkader.

Clayton County Register, 14 Feb. 1940.

Funeral services were held last Friday, Feb. 09, for Karen Ann Glawe, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Glawe, who was born Nov. 05 and died Feb. 07, at the age of three months and two days.

Short services were held at the Wm. Glawe home, grandparents, here in town, after which the body was taken to the Frieden's Evangelical church. Burial was made in the Clayton Center cemetery, the Rev. P. Kitterer of this place officiating.

Besides the parents the infant is survived by twin brothers, Robert Irwin and Roger William Glawe, besides grandparents and uncles and aunts.

The parents have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Death Certificate give her father as Irwin rather than Irvin. Names her mother as Ann Lauer
