Clayton County Register, 07 Feb. 1940.

GUTTENBERG: The funeral of Mrs. Emma Roth of Dubuque was held in St. Paul's Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

The husband, two daughters, two sons, two sisters, one brother and a large number of relatives mourn her death.

Mr. and Mrs. Roth and family were former residents of Guttenberg and for the last several years have been residing in Dubuque.

Burial was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.
