HYDE, SCHRUNK

Clayton County Register, 17 Jan. 1940.

Guttenberg: Mr. George Hyde died on Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stoeffler.

He had been ailing for several years and a few weeks ago he became seriously ill. His wife (nee Ella Schrunk) died several years ago while they were residents of Osterdock. Four daughters and two sons mourn his death.

The funeral was held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schweikert. The Rev. Newell Brink of the M.E. church officiated. Burial was made in the Bethel cemetery* near Osterdock.
