McGregor: Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. James Mitchell of Marquette who died Friday after a long illness. The Rev. Glenn McMichael, pastor of the Methodist church officiated and burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was 68 years old and was born at Osborne. She was oldest of seven children of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Robbins. She was married in 1893 to James Mitchell and has made her home in Marquette nearly all of the time since then as Mr. Mitchell was an employee of the Milwaukee railroad until his retirement recently.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, three sons, James, Jr., of Marquette, Lavern of McGregor and Harry of Strawberry Point; three daughters, Mrs. Louis Breckler, Mrs. Arthur Wilkinson and Mrs. Earl Luster, all of Marquette; two sisters, Mrs. C. Robbins and Mrs. Clara Lange of Osborne; and two brothers, John Robbins of Mederville and Robert Robbins of Edgewood.
