STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Lewis Kash were held at the home Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Frank V. Getty, pastor of the Methodist church. A quartet composed of Dr. R. W. Dutton, Eldon Stafford, B. W. Talcott and W. A. Luse, sang. Pallbearers were John Tinker, W. H. Arnold, Joe Gratke, W. V. Smith, Ed Nichols and James Alderson. Burial was made in St. Albert cemetery.
Lewis Kash, son of Albert and Kate Wesley Kash, was born in June, 1868, on the Kash farm south of Strawberry Point, and he continued to live on this farm, where he and his brother Albert farmed until March 01, 1921, when they retired and moved to Strawberry Point. The brother died Oct. 31, 1934. The deceased never married. Surviving are one brother and two sisters, John Kash, Mrs. Frank Wesley and Mrs. Thomas Houska, all of Lamont.

Sager, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wesley and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kash, of Lamont; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Weyant, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mattin, of Edgewood; Mrs. Fred Jessen, Mrs. Floyd Puffett, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lehman, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Vierow and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Laity of Dundee; Mrs. Ed Rhines and Howard, and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Smith, of Oelwein; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nieman of New Hampton; Mr. and Mrs. John Houska of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Bertha Ka_oss and LaVern, of Waterloo.
