Volga: Burial services were held here Thursday, June 22, at Hill Crest cemetery for George F. Allman, 66, whose death occurred Monday night at a Waterloo hospital following a seven-year illness with diabetes. He had resided in Waterloo the past nine years.

He was born at Dyersville, Oct. 12, 1872, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Allman. The family moved to Manchester when he was a small child, and he lived there until moving to Waterloo. In 1926, he married Florence Peake of Elkader, at Winona, Minn.

Survivors include his widow; a son Elmer, and four daughters, Bernice, Frances, Mary and Doris, all at home; a brother Clarence, of Independence, and three sisters: Mrs. N. D. Stover of Ryan, Mrs. C. O. Sheppard of Manchester, and Mrs. Bert Jinks of Mitchell, S.D.
