Clayton County Register, 24 May 1939.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at one-thirty at the Otto Doeppke home, and at two o'clock in the Congregational church for Ed. Staub. The Rev. N. O. Bartholomew will officiate.

Mr. Staub died Monday afternoon at about four o'clock while enroute to the McGregor hospital. He had been doing carpenter work on the Chas. Best farm in Read township and took suddenly ill last Saturday.
