Clayton County Register, 29 Mar. 1939.

GUTTENBERG: Mrs. Charles Staebler, who died last Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Harbaugh, was buried Wednesday afternoon. The funeral services were held at two o'clock in St. Paul's Lutheran church, with the Rev. H. C. Coovert officiating.

Mrs. Staebler was a resident of Graham but had lived in Guttenberg for some time several years ago.

Her death is mourned by her husband, three daughters, two sons; one brother, and a few grandchildren. Burial was in the Friedlein cemetery near Osterdock.
