Clayton County Register, 04 Jan. 1939.

Guttenberg: Frank Rolfes, Sr., aged 89, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Matt, Tuesday a.m. Mr. Rolfes is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Matt, Mrs. DeSotel of Guttenberg, and Mrs. Francis H__fer of Edgewood; three sons, George, Joseph and Frank.

The funeral was held in St. Mary's church, Saturday morning, and the Rev. Joseph Dupont officiated.
