Bartels, Infant Male died 1938

Clayton County Register, 16 Nov. 1938.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the St. Sebald Lutheran church for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bartels. The baby was born Wednesday, Nov. 02, and died at the Mercy hospital in Oelwein early Thursday morning, Nov. 10, following a serious operation.

He is survived by his parents, one brother, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larson and Mrs. Lena Bartels.
