Clayton County Register, 26 Oct. 1938.

MCGREGOR: The ashes of former McGregor resident, Alonzo C. Boyle, were brought here for burial last week. He died at Spokane, Wash., about two years ago. He had lived in McGregor nearly 70 years, coming here from Pennsylvania when a boy of 19 and living here until three years ago, when he went to Spokane to make his home with one of his daughters. Mr. Boyle was prominent in political circles and was one of the leading republicans of Clayton county for many years. He was in the construction business. Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
