Clayton County Register, 26 Oct. 1938.

MCGREGOR: The ashes of Lawrence Kinnaird of St. Louis, formerly of McGregor, who died August 15, were brought here for burial last week.

Mr. Kinnaird spent his youth in McGregor, but has lived for many years in St. Louis, where he was a prominent business man. His remains were accompanied to McGregor by his wife and two daughters, of St. Louis, and one son, of Chicago. His father was president of the First National Bank of McGregor for many years, and was a very early resident here.
