GUTTENBERG: Funeral services were held Thursday morning for Gottlieb J. Tschirgi, 82, who died at his home west of town Monday night. The services were conducted from St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock, with burial being made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

In the absence of Rev. J. A. Dupont, pastor of St. Mary's, Rev. Olinger of Garber officiated.

Mr. Tschirgi was born in Switzerland on Sept. 17, 1856. He was married in that country and came to the United States in 1882. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Helmuth Aulwes and Mrs. Joe Moreland, both of Guttenberg, and two sons, Frank of Menasha, Wis., and Albert of Garber.
