Clayton County Register, 07 Sept. 1938.

GUTTENBERG: Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Friedlein of this city were terribly shocked, Monday morning, when they received word from Garnavillo of the sudden death of their daughter, Mrs. Harold Tangeman.

She had been in good health and dropped dead while Mr. Tangeman was working outside.

Her husband and one son, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Friedlein, and four sisters, Mrs. Robert Hostetter of Waterloo, Mrs. M. Abel, Mrs. Effie Kimball and Mrs. Joe Kaspar, of Guttenberg, mourn her death. Also one nephew and one niece, and many other relatives.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon.
