GUTTENBERG: Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Harold Kappen, who died Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henrry B. Kappen. The services were conducted from the family home, with burial made in the city cemetery.

He was born in this community on July 26, 1900, and was 38 years old at the time of his death. He had been in ill health for over 10 years and had been an invalid for the last several years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five sisters: Mrs. C. D. Fletcher of Leandro, Cal.; Mrs. Bertha Frost of Dunsmore, Cal.; Mrs. Anna Sandt of McMinnville, Ore.; and Mrs. Paul Arnold and Mrs. Bert Uher, both of Milwaukee, Wis., and one brother, Elmer, of California.
