MONONA: Funeral services for Louis Ulish, aged 75, were held at nine o'clock from St. Patrick's Catholic church, the pastor, Rev. Father Luke Donlon singing the requiem high mass and saying the prayers at the grave adjoining the church.

Mr. Ulish was born Aug. 25, 1862, near Monona, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Ulish. April 23, 1891, he was married to Miss Nellie Schofield, and they lived in Monona all their life. He worked as a carpenter until he entered into partnership with his son-in-law, twenty-five years ago, in the meat market. With his health failing last fall, he retired.

Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Nellie Ulish; one son, Frank B. Ulish of Fort Dodge, and two daughters, Mrs. Frances Wagner of Monona and Mrs. Florence Elliott of Claire, Iowa; four grandchildren, Mrs. Ellen Rathbun of Monona, Bernadine Lou Elliott of Claire, Iowa, and Jean Ellen and Ernst Louis Ulish of Fort Dodge, and one great-grandchild, Joanne Rathbun, of Monona; also three sisters, Miss Mary Ulish of Monona, Mrs. La Vina Kruse of Chicago, and Mrs. Susan Tayek of Postville.
