STRAWBERRY POINT: The body of John Baldridge, who had disappeared last Saturday afternoon, was found Sunday afternoon at two o'clock on the late John Dexter farm, six miles northwest of Strawberry Point by Harry Opitz and Alex Schmidt.
Mr. Baldridge had been in poor health for some time and it is believed that he wandered away and death overtook him as he crossed a plowed field on the farm now occupied by John Lamphier. Search was continued until Sunday morning, three o'clock, and then resumed again after daylight. No coroner's inquest was held.
Mr. and Mrs. Baldridge were to have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on the day his body was found.
