Clayton County Register, 05 Jan. 1937.

Guttenberg: The home of August Walke was saddened Thursday morning about 1:30 o'clock, when Mrs. Walke died. She had been in very poor health for several months. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, and several other relatives. The funeral was held at St. John's Lutheran church Saturday afternoon at 1:30. The Rev. J. W. Adix officiated at the church and at the grave. A large number of relatives attended the funeral. Burial was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.
