MONONA: Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Kohler, aged 57, were held Monday morning at 9:30 from St. Patrick's Catholic church and burial was made in the parish cemetery. The pastor, Rev. Father Luke Donlon sang the mass of requiem and said the prayers at the grave.
Surviving Mrs. Kohler are the widower, Edward Kohler, one son, Raymond Kohler, two daughters, Miss Hilda Kohler, at home, and Veronica, Mrs. Harry Landt of Luana, one grandson Robert Landt of Luana, and two sisters, Mrs. Alois Kohler of Monona and Mrs. Stoeffler of Garnavillo.
Mrs. Kohler was a good wife and mother, a quiet, busy woman whose love of her church and home was an inspiration to her husband and children. She was a true friend and neighbor. Her husband and children did all in their power to help her and her loss will long be felt in their midst. The sympathy of the community is extended them in their loss.
Pallbearers were Linford Bentien, Wilbert Lenth, Werner Johaningmeier, Herbert A. Wagner, Simon E. Moses and Alfred T. Huinker. Mass servers were Donald and Henry Bromelkamp, Jr.
